About the Warrior Program

What is the IWK Foundation Warrior program?

The IWK Foundation Warrior program provides donors with a personalized way to fundraise for IWK Health. As a Warrior, you can customize your own celebration or event for the IWK.

How do I chose what kind of Warrior to become?

Do you have an upcoming birthday or milestone? You can become a Celebration Warrior.

Are you planning to have a bake sale or hockey tournament for the IWK? Then you are an Event Warrior.

If you are joining together with your coworkers to fundraise for the IWK, you can enroll as a Corporate Warrior.

Do you have an idea that’s outside of the box? Then you can sign up as a DIY Warrior.

Registration

I did not receive my registration confirmation, who do I contact?

Your registration will be emailed to the address that you provided during registration. If you did not receive your confirmation email, please contact the IWK Foundation at foundation@iwk.nshealth.ca or call 902-470-8085 or 1-800-595-2266.

Communications

How do I get my name removed from your email list?

If you would no longer like to receive communication from the IWK Foundation, please email the IWK Foundation at foundation@iwk.nshealth.ca or call 902-470-8085 or 1-800-595-2266.

How do I update my contact information once I’ve registered?


Please email us at foundation@iwk.nshealth.ca or call 902-470-8085 or 1-800-595-2266 so that we can update your record.

Do you sell, trade, or exchange my donation information with anyone else?

Your privacy is extremely important to us. We will never provide your personal information to anyone outside of our organization, unless required by law.

Donations

I did not receive my tax receipt for my donation, who do I contact?

The IWK Foundation will issue you a tax receipt for all donations of $20 or more. If you have not received your tax receipt within 24 hours of making your donation, please email the IWK Foundation at foundation@iwk.nshealth.ca or call us at 902-470-8085 or 1-800-595-2266 and we will issue you a duplicate receipt.

The amount/information on my receipt is incorrect. How do I get a new receipt?

If you accidently receive a tax receipt with incorrect information, we will happily provide you with a new receipt immediately. Please email the IWK Foundation at foundation@iwk.nshealth.ca or call us at 902-470-8085 or 1-800-595-2266.

I have misplaced my tax receipt; can I get a new one?

Absolutely! Please contact the IWK Foundation directly at foundation@iwkfoundation.org or call us at 902-470-8085 or 1-800-595-2266 and we will issue you a duplicate tax receipt.
