I didn't receive my tax receipt. Can I get an updated copy?

  • Once the donation is completed, you will receive an automatic tax receipt to the email address provided. Make sure to check your junk folder, but if you still can’t locate it, please email Melanie Matheson at melanie.matheson@iwkfoundation.org.

I made my donation to the wrong person. Can this be fixed?

  • Yes! We will need email confirmation for our records that the donation was made to the wrong person from the donor. Please email Melanie Matheson at melanie.matheson@iwkfoundation.org.

What is the age to participate?

  • This event is family-friendly and is open to all ages; however, participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult and have parental consent.

What is the cost to participate?

  • Teams: Each participant/member of a team is challenged to fundraise a minimum of $250. If this fundraising goal is not met, a registration fee of $100 per participant/member will be payable the day of the event.
  • Individual Participants: Each participant is challenged to fundraise a minimum of $250. If this fundraising goal is not met, a registration fee of $100 per participant will be payable on the day of the event.
  • Families: If you register family members under one name, participants/members 14 and over (collectively) are expected to fundraise $500. If this fundraising goal is not met, a registration fee of $200 is payable on the day of the event.

I'm having issues registering for the event. Who do I contact?

Are pets, child strollers and other equipment allowed on the race route?

  • Yes, child strollers are permitted, and dogs must be on a leash.

Is my registration tax-deductible?

  • No. Registrations for Trailblazer For Cancer are not eligible for a Canadian tax receipt. However, tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
